How long do tape-in extensions last?
The bonds need moving up every six to eight weeks. The hair itself can usually be reused through several move-ups — often six to twelve months — depending on how you care for it.
Will tape-ins damage my hair?
Applied and removed properly, and moved up on schedule, tape-ins are one of the gentler methods because there's no heat, glue-gun or braiding tension. Damage almost always comes from leaving them in too long.
How much do tape-in extensions cost?
It depends on how many wefts you need, your length and your color. Because the hair is ordered specifically for you, Niki quotes the total at the consultation rather than posting a starting price that wouldn't be accurate.
Can I still color my hair with extensions in?
Your own hair, yes. Extension hair can be toned or glossed but not lightened. Niki plans color and extension timing together so the match stays right.
Will anyone be able to tell?
Not if they're placed and cut properly. That's the whole job — mapping around your part, staying off the perimeter, and cutting the ends so they disappear into your layers.
Can I wear my hair up?
Yes. Placement is planned with ponytails in mind, though very high, tight styles need a little care about where wefts sit.
