Questions clients ask
What's the difference between full and partial highlights?
A full highlight works the whole head including the back; a partial focuses on the top and sides — what shows when your hair is down. Partial is quicker and cheaper but leaves the back darker as it grows.
Why do I need lowlights?
Lightening repeatedly without adding depth back is what makes hair look flat and translucent. Lowlights restore contrast, which is what your eye reads as shine and thickness.
How often should I get highlights?
Every 8 to 12 weeks for most people. Highlighting the same hair too often is where damage accumulates — Niki will often refresh tone instead and re-highlight less frequently.
Can highlights cover gray?
They blend gray well when it's scattered, because gray takes lightener readily and disappears into the brightness. Dense gray at the hairline needs base color for real coverage.
