New here?
Your best hair starts with the right plan.
First appointments should feel easy, not like an interview. Here's exactly how to start, depending on what you already know.
Path one
You know what you want.
Choose your service and book it — no consultation required. This is the right route for a haircut, a root touch-up, gray coverage, standard highlights, balayage or your regular maintenance color.
- — Haircut + style
- — Root touch-up and gray coverage
- — Highlights, lowlights and gloss
- — Balayage and lived-in color
Path two
You'd like some guidance.
Planning a big change, thinking about extensions, dealing with color that went wrong, or simply not sure what to ask for? Send Niki a few details and she'll tell you what to book — or set up a consultation if the work needs one.
- — Tape-in extensions
- — Color correction
- — Complete transformations
- — Complicated color history
- — “I don't know what to book”
What to expect
Your first visit
The Collective, Suite 2222. It's a suite salon — walk in and come straight back, no front desk. Parking is free.
- 01
A real consultation first
Ten minutes before anything is mixed: what you like, what's been frustrating you, and how much time you want to spend on your hair at home.
- 02
An honest plan
Including whether your goal is a one-appointment job or better done in two. You'll know the price before Niki starts.
- 03
The service
Color, toner, cut and style — done by Niki from start to finish, in a private suite.
- 04
A maintenance schedule
What to use at home, when to come back, and whether a gloss between visits would help. Rebooking before you leave gets you the best times.

New client questions
Do I have to book a consultation as a new client?
No. If you know what you need — a haircut, roots, gray coverage, standard highlights or balayage — book it directly. Consultations are for extensions, corrective color, big transformations and anyone who isn't sure.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Inspiration photos in natural light, and a rough history of what's been on your hair over the last couple of years — including box color. Come with your hair as you normally wear it.
How long will my first appointment take?
A haircut is an hour. Root color is 45 minutes. Full dimensional color is around three hours. Your booking confirmation shows the exact time reserved for you.
How do I pay?
Card or cash at the appointment. If a deposit is ever required for a large transformation, Niki tells you when the appointment is scheduled — never as a surprise.
What if I need to reschedule?
Let Niki know as early as you can. With two appointment days a week, an early heads-up means someone else can take the slot and you can be moved into the next available one.
